Upwards arising to the light
This is the call of my ancient destiny

I am the Rose of humility ~ of nobility ~ of sanctity ~ of fragrant silence

I am the Rose of humility ~ of nobility ~ of sanctity ~ of fragrant silence

I am the Beauty of that Power which Created me
Which generated my design

My existence dependent on all before, after, and beyond my form

I am but a sacred mirage, an ephemeral reflection
of the formless essence of the One Holy Architect of Life

Fashioned in the measure of earth, stars, wind, sea,
tides of blood, and pulse of heart

Petals & Thorns ~ I am the Rose

I am here to be
I am here to bless
I am here to shine
I am here to thrive

I stand dignified in this garden
as a tiny servant of the Holy Light that animates me

Petals & Thorns ~ I am the Rose
You are the Rose

We together are growing, mysteriously, onward, upward
Feistily, silently, invincibly towards the Light

Home in our terrestrial, celestial inner spiraling abode
Home in our purity, home in our internal dreamscape
Home in our selves, home in our petals & thorns

We are the Rose ~ Triumphant, Exalted

With Petals like Wings and Thorns like Claws
We soar with the wind in the sky,
and we dance deep into the inner earth
